Compensation (Range): $40/ hour

We are a leading staffing firm and our clients include some over the nation’s biggest companies. Our client has a need for a Specification Analyst. This is a contract position; however it is not uncommon for assignments to transition into permanent positions with our client companies. Specification Analyst

Job Responsibilities                                              

  • Creates and modifies production level specifications in the factory data base using inputs from an Engineering Change Order (ECO) and sister factory decisions.
  • Organizes, enters and maintains data for specific programs. Communicates Engineering Change Decisions to production.
  • Prepares drawings for the decision process, creates simple models of components or simple
    modifications to existing components and drawings.
  • May create 3D assemblies for new Bills of Material with support from senior designers or engineers. Provides consultation services on standards, processes and related technical issues in order to identify, prevent or solve problems.
  • Works from system generated error reports, ensuring the data is in sync with other systems that
    interface with the common specification system.

Job Requirements

As a Specification Analyst you must represent our company well by being responsible, punctual and motivated to go above and beyond the call of duty. You must also be highly detail-oriented and organized with excellent analytic and problem-solving abilities. It is also important that you display excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • This position is responsible for processing Continuous Improvement changes as a local Spec analyst. Good communication skills as well as Excel experience is needed.
  • Previous SAP experience.
