We are a leading staffing firm and our clients include some over the nation’s biggest companies. Our client has a need for a Sourcing Business Operations Analyst. This is a contract position; however it is not uncommon for assignments to transition into permanent positions with our client companies. Sourcing Business Operations Analyst

Job Responsibilities                                              

  • Sourcing request form - Helpdesk Mailbox monitoring and providing solutions. - 70-80 individual email/phone requests per month
  • GARM (Government Related Businesses) COI (Certificate of Insurance) clause and processing. - 5-10 Contract clauses per month
  • COI opening and scanning - 1000 envelops opened and scanned per month
  • Payment Term Mailbox assignment & GARM processing back-up – adhoc-8-10 emails per month
  • Purchase Order Creation – 5 POs per month
  • Complete rebate check request forms – 5 to 10 checks per month
  • Ad hoc projects –Basic metrics tracking, Market Intelligence lookup, audit support (i.e., supplier info, certificate search, support documentation tracking)
  • Ad hoc source support - preparing the excel import template when mass updates are required, pull supplier reports, etc.
  • Misc. Administrative – occasional back-up administrative support (meeting setup, etc.), virtual card creation for training / meetings

Job Requirements

As a Sourcing Business Operations Analyst you must represent our company well by being responsible, punctual and motivated to go above and beyond the call of duty. You must also be highly detail-oriented and organized with excellent analytic and problem-solving abilities. It is also important that you display excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.

  •  Bachelor’s degree 3 years of experience in Sourcing, Procurement, Change Management or Supply Chain required
  • Technical experience with Excel and PowerPoint
  • Analytical skills and communication skills required
  • Ability to work independently
  • Well organized, detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks
  • Ability to prioritize projects, establish realistic timelines/milestones and achieve results
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to interact professionally and effectively with all levels of management including senior leaders
  • Strong relationship management including peers, executives, internal/external customers, third party vendors, and various stakeholders
  • Ability to produce accurate and timely information in a highly dynamic work environment with strong Customer Focus mindset
