Job Responsibilities                                              

Your specific duties as a Material Planning Analyst will include:       

  • We are currently seeking an experienced Material Planning Analyst to join our team in Benson, MN.
  • In this role, you will be responsible for controlling and scheduling the flow of goods, information, and resources.
  • Procurement of material and warehousing and distribution of raw materials, goods-in process, inventory management.
  • Controls the commercial impact of the complete range of activities (May include: receiving, locating and dispatching, sourcing, purchasing and optimizing inventory levels).
  • Analyzes contractual commitments, customer specifications, design changes, and other data to plan and develop logistic program activities from conceptual stage through life-cycle of product.
  • Develops and implements program activities, coordinates efforts of subcontractors, suppliers, production departments, and field service personnel, and resolves problems in area of logistics to ensure meeting of commitments.
  • Other related duties as assigned.

Material Planning Analyst

Job Requirements

As a Material Planning Analyst you must represent our company well by being responsible, punctual and motivated to go above and beyond the call of duty. You must also be highly detail-oriented and organized with excellent analytic and problem-solving abilities. It is also important that you display excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Bachelor's degree plus 2 or more years of manufacturing logistics and/or manufacturing planning experience OR Associate's degree plus 5 or more years of manufacturing logistics and/or manufacturing planning experience OR High School Diploma/GED plus 7 or more years of manufacturing logistics and/or manufacturing planning experience
  • Experience working with logistics/planning of large components
  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Lean Manufacturing/World Class Manufacturing knowledge or experience
  • Strong PC skills, with ability to learn and use new programs quickly
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Self-starter with ability to drive results
