Compensation (Range): $16-22/ hour

If you are an experienced Instructional Designer looking for a position with a leading company, Bartech can help! We are a leading staffing firm and our clients include some over the nation’s biggest companies. Our client has a need for an Instructional Designer. This is a contract position; however it is not uncommon for assignments to transition into permanent positions with our client companies. Job Responsibilities                                              

The primary purpose is to assist in analyzing monthly performance through financial statement reviews, complete month end tasks, provide presentation support to management on financial performance and perform analysis on changes in the business. A strong knowledge of general accepted accounting principles, control concepts, financial and budget principles is required. In addition, a general knowledge of automated systems, and the function of the finance department are required. An advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint are required. The position requires strong abilities for problem solving, presenting accurate financial information as requested by management. The individual must be able to flex with changing priorities.

We are an internal training organization that manages curriculum for over 30 different classes and provides strategic material to support new initiatives. The ideal candidate will be able to adapt material to provide a clear message through professional, attractive graphics and translate into digital course modules.

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize programs such as Captivate to build interactive online courses
  • Effectively communicate abstract concepts
  • Support design consistency across training content
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to visualize concepts
  • Maintain brand standard and content
  • Individuals should be used to collaboratively working in a large, fast-paced corporate environment.
  • All candidates must be prepared to share a portfolio with examples of PowerPoint work

Job Requirements

As an Instructional Designer you must represent our company well by being responsible, punctual and motivated to go above and beyond the call of duty. You must also be highly detail-oriented and organized with excellent analytic and problem-solving abilities. It is also important that you display excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.

We are looking for Individuals that are proficient in:

  • Captivate or equivalent program
  • Microsoft Office: PowerPoint, Word, Excel
  • Google Apps: Slides, Sheets, Docs, Drive
  • PC/Mac

Working knowledge in the following areas is a plus:

  • Adobe Creative Suite: InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator
  • Editing
  • Education: HSD
