Bilingual Dealership Service Trainer –Calgary, AB

Dealership Service Training Instructor (STI) Deliver high quality technical training to dealership technicians through classroom courses in Company and offsite locations. Key Role Responsibilities:

  • Providing quality instructor-led technical training
  • Management of course materials and equipment
  • Management of training center facilities Training supports technician competency for 'Fix Right the First Time' and overall Customer Satisfaction.

Skilled Required

  • Must be fluent in both English and French
  • Ford product and process related experience preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills (must be self-starter)
  • Willingness to travel weekly and to relocate
  • Basic proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and the Intranet/Internet usage
  • Ability to use Ford reporting systems (i.e. GCQIS & STARS)
  • Broad overall knowledge of Ford vehicle systems operation and component function
  • Proficient in the use of general vehicle diagnostic tools and aptitude to use Ford specific diagnostic tool

Skilled Preferred

  • Deliver of high quality technical training in Company and offsite locations
  • Identify and prioritize dealership technical training requirements utilizing dealer and internal customer feedback
  • Maintain of the NSO training centre equipment and vehicle inventories
  • Interact with regional staff in the training delivery of regional training needs
  • Maintain technician training records in STARS
  • Provide assistance to regional personnel on technical and training related issues
  • Support of dealer technician recruitment programs
  • Coordinating the Edit Deferral process

Experience Required:

  • Ford product and process related experience preferred ¿Training delivery experience an asset

Education Required:

  • Certified Automotive Technician with Industry and/or Ford Accreditation (Master Technician)
  • Ford product and process related experience preferred
  • Bachelors of Science Degree in Automotive Technology or Equivalent preferred
