Compensation (Range): $31 - $32/ hour

This is a contract position; however it is not uncommon for assignments to transition into permanent positions with ours client companies. Assembly Manufacturing Engineer

Job Responsibilities

Your specific duties as an Assembly Manufacturing Engineer will include:

  • Provide Assembly ME support and basic trouble shooting for current assembly operations.
  • Investigates gathers and analyze data for identifying root cause for assembly issues
  • Establishes routings, Wplanner, layouts, tooling, assembly costs, OMS, control plans for revisions to current operations and/or running changes for current product
  • Conduct specifications audits as warranted to identify root causes of material flow issues
  • Conduct work center audits to ensure accurate layout, tooling, and documentation of assembly methods
  • Support Continuous Improvement activities within production in order to meet Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Efficiency goals
  • Identify quality issues, provide containment of suspect material, and develop both short/term long term corrective action - NCCA's
  • Participate in SERA audits to proactively identify and resolve safety issues

Job Requirements

As an Assembly Manufacturing Engineer you must represent our company well by being responsible, punctual and motivated to go above and beyond the call of duty. You must also be highly detail-oriented and organized with excellent analytic and problem-solving abilities. It is also important that you display excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Working knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft Office tools
  • Background in Engineering
  • General understanding of PRO E and Vis-Mock up
  • Good knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality, tooling, tool design, total preventative maintenance and facilities
  • Experience in one or more related engineering areas: industrial, production, methods, reliability, design, manufacturing, warehousing and distribution, quality
  • Experience in Project management and business planning
  • Experience with engineering tools, systems and databases
  • Experience with line and process design, material presentation, cycles of imbalance and visual management tools What Makes You Stand Out Other areas of experience or interest that will help us place you on the right team include:
  • Experience in specifying torque tooling
  • Extensive knowledge of combine or front-end equipment
  • Experience in JDAAT
  • Experience in WPlanner and FactoryCAD
