Electronics Hardware Validation Engineer        

Job Responsibilities                                              

Your specific duties as a Electronics Hardware Validation Engineer will include:       

  • Work includes validating electronic sensors, actuators, control units and harnesses to ensure the consistent operation of products in a variety of customer applications.
  • Investigates electronic hardware problems, understands causal mechanisms, recommends appropriate action, owns problem resolution and documents results.
  • Develop and execute design verification plan and report (DVP&R) based on provided standards
  • Verify design through fit checks, analysis, environmental and functional testing
  • Write and execute onsite and offsite testing
  • Coordinate failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA).
  • Drive decision, assess risks, and mitigate
  • Work cross functionally to resolve product and component issues
  • Define and evaluate customer needs to align expectations
  • Coordinate communication efforts and hold cross functional reviews
  • Work directly with suppliers, leading supplier meeting, reviewing data, compiling reports
  • Makes decisions in the areas of validation and test that impact unit cost, functionality, and prototype delivery.

Electronics Hardware Validation Engineer

Job Requirements

As a Electronics Hardware Validation Engineer you must represent our company well by being responsible, punctual and motivated to go above and beyond the call of duty. You must also be highly detail-oriented and organized with excellent analytic and problem-solving abilities. It is also important that you display excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Minimum of a Bachelors Degree is required. Manager would like to see candidates with degrees in the engineering field including Electrical, electronic or similar fields.
  • Prior work experience in basic problem-solving techniques (5 phase, 7 steps, 8D or similar), familiarity with embedded electronic hardware development process, worst case analysis, DFMEA/PFMEA, Fault Tree Analysis (FTA) is required with a demonstrated track record of technical problem solving and quality decision making.
  • Preference to candidate who can demonstrate experience in Managing complexity, communicating effectively, driving results, making good and timely decisions and resourcefulness.
  • Knowledge of MS Office tools is preferred.
  • Manager would like to see candidates with 3-5 years applicable working experience in their backgrounds.
